Shipping Policy

Typically, you can expect your order to ship within 5 business days. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are not considered business days. During the holiday and peak seasons shipping times will vary due to the high order volume. We do work very hard to get your order out to you, and apologize if there is a delay with it. Let our Customer Service know if your order has passed the above ship time, and they will have your order sent to our Shipping Department to investigate the reason for the delay.

Expect an extended delivery date when:

  • Merchandise requires personalization
  • Merchandise is shipped direct from the manufacturer
  • Merchandise is of an irregular size or weight that doesn't allow for air delivery
  • Merchandise is a full-size lightbar
  • Merchandise is on back order from the manufacturer
  • Shipment is destined for a U.S. Territory or Possession, a Foreign Nation, Canadian Province or contains a Military Shipping Code (APO/FPO, etc.)
  • The transaction is for a restricted item and/or restricted destination, requiring a U.S. Government-authorized export license for shipment

Products purchased together at a discounted rate, or including a gift with purchase, are shipped together. In the case of a backorder, all items are delayed until all items are available for shipment.

FDM Tactical recommends providing a street address for shipping since using a P.O. Box address may result in a delay. Deliveries to APO/FPO and P.O. Boxes will be shipped via United States Postal Service at Standard rates. Select Standard Shipping at checkout. Allow for extended delivery times.

APO/FPO shipments: FDM Tactical specialists are available to assist with availability, bulk pricing and shipping regulations.

Important note regarding delivery of hazardous materials: The shipping of hazardous materials is heavily regulated. If an order contains these items (including pepper spray, flares, etc.), they will be shipped via Standard Shipping regardless of the delivery method selected at checkout.

For orders sent outside the contiguous U.S. to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, an additional $24.99 will be added to all shipment services. Not all services are available to all locations. Heavy or bulky items require additional shipping due to size and weight. For lightbars (38" and up), an additional $24.99 shipping charge will be added to the final shipping total for each lightbar ordered. Additional shipping and handling charges also apply to safes, vehicle partitions, bumpers and traffic cones.

Please note that upper receivers may take up to 15 business days to ship out. Serialized items (rifles, pistols, lower receivers, etc.) may take up to 7-10 business day to ship out. Please verify that FDM Tactical has a copy of the FFL from your dealer.

For shipping costs please add the item(s) to your cart, enter your state and zip code then click "GET A QUOTE".

To track your order, log in, click on “My Account”, click on “View Order” on the right hand side of the screen, click “Shipments”, and then click on the tracking number. Typically, tracking information will be updated at the end of the business day after your order has been picked up by the carrier. If the tracking number has not been added to your order, the carrier has not picked up your order.

Firearm Shipments

The customer is responsible for knowing his/her state laws regarding firearm transfers. Contact your local FFL dealer with any questions regarding the sale or transfer of firearms. Contact your local FFL before ordering a firearm to verify their transfer fee and to ensure they will receive your transfer. The customer assumes all responsibility and cost for returned firearms due to FFL refusal or failure to receive.

If you order a handgun, stockless shotgun, complete AR or AK receiver, or stripped lower receiver, YOU MUST be:

  1. A legal resident of the state in which you are ordering.

Please follow all directions prompted to you at checkout. This will ensure speedier delivery. Please note that the FFL selection on our website is for customer convenience only and does not necessarily mean that FDM Tactical has the FFL selected on file. The customer may be asked to provide the FFL information that they wish to use. If a customer wishes to change the FFL they want to use after the order has shipped, they will be additionally charged for the cost of shipping. If a FFL is not available at the time of delivery, the package will not be held at the carrier hub and will be returned to FDM Tactical. Special Tax Notices

All States

The decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc., et al, overturned prior Supreme Court precedent in Quill Corp. v. North Dakota, which previously required retailers to have a physical presence in a state beyond merely shipping goods in order to require a retailer to collect and remit sales taxes from those in-state customers. Going forward, FDM Tactical will be collecting and remitting sales tax in those states which require such.
